AN AGRICULTURAL EXCELLENCE

Beauty and fertility in harmony with nature

Orti del Biferno Estate, located in the heart of the Biferno Valley and representative of dedication to quality and diversity in cultivation, spans 50 hectares of flat, medium-textured, fertile land. This area, with a strong horticultural vocation, benefits from the waters of the Matese limestone massif, collected in the Guardialfiera Lake, allowing irrigation of the fields.

The estate is a splendid example of agriculture blending with nature, embodying beauty and fertility in harmony with the natural landscape, and demonstrating a constant commitment to sustainable and environmentally respectful agricultural practices.

Biferno
Land
  • A UNIQUE TERRITORY

Orti del Biferno Estate is characterized by flat, medium-textured soil, providing excellent fertility and versatility. These features make the estate ideal for a variety of crops, from seasonal vegetables to cereals, enhancing every aspect of agriculture.
  • RICH AND DIVERSE CROPS

The crops include a wide range of vegetables for every season, including onions, tomatoes, and fennel, complemented by aromatic herbs such as coriander and basil. The fields also grow cereals like durum wheat and barley. We plan to expand our crops with soft wheat, lettuce varieties, chicory, as well as melons and watermelons, to increase our agricultural product offerings.
  • WATER AND IRRIGATION

The estate’s irrigation comes from the waters of the Matese limestone massif, collected in the Guardialfiera Lake. This natural system not only ensures a constant water supply but also helps preserve the local ecosystem.
  • A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

Orti del Biferno Estate stands out for its use of precision farming methods and sustainable practices aimed at preserving soil quality and reducing environmental impact.
